Cell of Celebration is Christ’s Church Ministries’ Biblical response to restoring the early Discipleship Natural Activity to build the Body of Christ.
Christ’s Church Ministries wants to assist fellow saints of God in Pittsburgh and around the world, who desire to celebrate Christian Grace with its Hebraic Roots. This breaks with traditional church patterns and man’s doctrines, to instead follow the apostolic pattern of celebration. This will be accomplished through Cell ministries meeting wherever the Lord leads, such as in a home, market place, work place, public place, various houses of worship, etc.
The Church grew rapidly after Pentecost. Jesus’ command the Apostles to go first to the children of Israel, their fellow Jews, to illuminate what Jesus had done through His life to reveal God’s plan of redemption through the Messiah. After His resurrection that is what He himself did with the two downhearted disciples on the road to Emmaus who immediately ran back to tell the other disciples.
From 120 scared disciples, over 3,000 became believers in Christ. The DNA of Cell Church ministry is Discipleship Naturally Activated. Without manuals, power points, not even seminaries; only the Old Testament and the Holy Spirit. When denied access to the synagogues and Temple they readily responded by assembling in their homes for corporate worship.
BETTER-Cell Church : Members meeting in cell groups weekly to study of materials coordinated with weekly assembly of all the members of the cell groups.
EVEN BETTER: Cell Church Network Each Cell is the living independent church of 5-20 disciples , a living segment of the network. A greater awareness that most transformation ministry is locally accomplished with interdependence with other cells. At each intersection there should be a Christ loving cell prepared to rapidly respond to the Spirit’s call.
ULTIMATE BEST- The Body of Christ
WHY A HOUSE /CELL NETWORK?
It is Biblical
The Bible tells us we need to attend church, “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:420), “not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:25). The Church is the place where believers can love one another, “No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.” (1 John 4:12).
As well encourage one another, “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called ‘Today,’ so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. “ (Hebrews 3:13), “spur” one another, “and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24), “serve one another” (Galatians 5:13), “instruct one another” (Romans 15:14), honor one another “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;” (Romans 12:10), and “be kind and compassionate to one another” (Ephesians 4:32).
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. (Acts 5:42) The DNA of Christianity never intended to be private relationship with God , a solo self-expression of belief in a religious system, rather personal relationship with Christ involves a commitment in faith to live in Jesus Christ and in harmony with fellow Saints in the Body of Christ. King David would pen, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! “ (Psalms 133:1).
Christ’s Church Ministries Christian Grace with Hebraic Roots’ purpose is to convince and to challenge you to get involved in the Cell Church Network to affect positive change in your home, neighborhood, community, region, state and nation.
REASONS TO JOIN A CELL OR FORM GROUP TODAY!
The Relationship Factor
In the Christ’s Church Ministries’ Cell Church Network, you will meet and develop a unique bond of fellowship that will become lifelong both in your immediate cell and with cooperating in the churches in the network and others within your area. You find out that you are not alone in overcoming struggles, but you will have support from the Body of Christ as it really becomes a family, like church is supposed to be. You get to experience the variety of wonderful worship in the Body of Christ – this is a good thing!
The Challenge to Grow Factor
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17) “And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25). In a Cell group with accountable and vibrant relationships we are challenged by those who love us to move on toward what God has for us. If this seems like your stepping out of a comfort zone, be at peace. You have a group of committed disciples in Christ continually encouraging and supporting you!
The Health and Healing Factor
Being involved in Christ’s Church Ministries Cell Network has healing in the authority of Christ at its core. Relationships based on living in Christ yield improved health in every way, Spirit, Soul and Body. Christ’s Church Ministries prays for the Body every week if not daily!
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. (15) And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. “ (James 5:14-15).
The Outreach Factor
All of the ministry of the church is done through the Cell Group and in cooperation with other cells. Discipleship becomes a lifestyle, not a word in a dictionary used only in sermons. Responsibilities are shared in the cell. Relationship as well as confident street and market place evangelism become normal. Cell ministry is usually comprised of up to 20 people (disciples) actively ministering fully in the power of the Spirit, unhindered in reaching out to 80 or more others in the neighborhood or elsewhere (Pareto Principal). All benefit in the exchange. When the cell responds in outreach and aid or crisis assistance, it is an effective unit of organization. To a lost and dying world, such loving service is an important part of our Christian experience. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45).
OBSTACLE TO JOINING A CELL GROUP:
To counteract fear of involvement the Body of Christ needs to call out for the Holy Spirit to breathe revival into the hearts of those who claim the DNA of the Body of Christ. A greater fear for those whom claim the DNA of the Gospel is seeing the erosion of the civility that the Post Christian 21st century world , let alone the United States , acts and looks like. “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7).
